The traffic light system helps make exercise feel safer and simpler. Not every day feels the same, especially during or after illness or treatment.
At OAK, Red, Amber and Green days help guide the type and amount of activity that feels right for you.
The goal is to help you listen to your body, avoid overdoing it and stay consistent.

Low Energy Days (Red Days)
Rest is not a step back — it’s part of the plan.
There will be days where your body simply doesn’t have the energy it usually does.
This might be due to treatment, recovery, poor sleep, medication, or just how your body feels that day.
👉 That’s not failure. That’s feedback.

Medium Energy Days (Amber Days)
Do what you can — not everything you could.
Not every day will feel like a “full energy” day.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t move.
👉 Amber Days are about staying consistent — safely.

Higher Energy Days (Green Days)
When your body feels ready — this is your time to build.
Some days, things feel better.
Your energy is higher, your body feels more capable, and movement feels more natural.
👉 These are your Green Days.
